SheekBot ("SheekBot," "we," "us") provides a chat bot and dashboard for Kick, Twitch, YouTube, Discord, and related streaming tools. This policy explains what data we collect when you use SheekBot, why we collect it, and how you can control it. It applies to the SheekBot dashboard, the bot itself, and the public SheekBot website.
Account information. When you create a SheekBot account, we collect your email address and any display name or profile details you provide.
Platform connections. When you connect a streaming or community platform (Kick, Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Spotify, Twitter/X), we receive an OAuth access token and refresh token from that platform, plus basic profile information it grants us (username, display name, channel/server ID, avatar). We use these tokens only to perform the actions you've configured — reading chat, posting messages, running commands, checking live status, and similar — and never to access anything beyond the permissions you explicitly grant during that platform's own consent screen.
Discord specifics. To route interactions and manage roles, SheekBot processes Discord identifiers — Discord User IDs, Server (Guild) IDs, Channel IDs, Role IDs, and Message IDs — along with the server configurations you set up in the dashboard, such as role-menu options, welcome messages, automation rules, and level-up webhook URLs. Button clicks, select-menu selections, and voice-state events are processed in real time to carry out the action you triggered; we don't keep a separate history of every interaction. SheekBot does not request Discord's Message Content Intent, so we do not receive or store the text of messages posted in your server's text channels, threads, or direct messages — that's different from chat platforms like Kick, Twitch, and YouTube, where message text is processed as described below.
Chat and community data. To run commands, moderation, points, timers, giveaways, trivia, and alerts, SheekBot processes messages and events from the chat platforms you've connected (chat messages, follows, subscriptions, raids, and similar events). This data is used to power those features and is not sold or shared with unrelated third parties.
AI features. If you enable AI chat responses, the message text is sent to a language model to generate a reply. Depending on your configuration, this may be a self-hosted model you run yourself (e.g. via Ollama) rather than a third-party AI vendor — in that case, that data goes to infrastructure you control, not to us or an external AI company.
Voice/TTS features. If you enable text-to-speech, the text being read aloud is sent to our TTS provider (ElevenLabs) to generate audio. See ElevenLabs' own privacy policy for how they handle that data.
Payment information. Paid plans are billed through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly and shares with us only what's needed to manage your subscription (plan, status, billing history).
Usage and diagnostic data. We use product analytics (PostHog) and error tracking (Sentry) to understand how SheekBot is used and to find and fix bugs. This may include your account ID, pages visited, and technical details about errors.
We share data only with the service providers necessary to run SheekBot — for example the platform you've connected (Kick, Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Spotify, X), our hosting provider, Stripe for billing, ElevenLabs for TTS if enabled, and PostHog/Sentry for analytics and error tracking. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We retain account and platform-connection data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect a platform integration, we stop using its access token and delete it. If you delete your account, we delete your account data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain records (for example, billing records) for legal or accounting purposes.
For Discord specifically: removing SheekBot from your server or disconnecting the Discord integration stops us from receiving any further data from it. You can request deletion of that server's stored configuration (role menus, welcome messages, level-up settings, and similar) at any time — see "Your choices and rights" below.
You can disconnect any connected platform, delete individual data (like custom commands or alerts), or delete your account entirely from the dashboard, or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA — including the right to access, correct, or delete your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
SheekBot is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy as SheekBot changes. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
